With this project, I am embarking on an exploration of the human form as it relates to nature. A series of selected images will be combined and placed side by side to create a contrast that signals an internal relationship between both forms. I am interested in finding converging lines and similarities in composition. The juxtaposition of these images portray fragments of the human form and transport the viewer’s associations with the body from the familiar to the foreign. This duality, sensual or aggressive, will be achieved through the use of shadows, light, cropping and framing.
